Maternity Cover Position Potential for Permanent Employment

Fergus & Glover Dental Practice is seeking a caring, professional and enthusiastic GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join our friendly team on a maternity cover contract. To end 28/06/27

This position is offered initially as a fixed-term maternity cover role; however, for the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for a permanent position within the practice at the end of the contract, subject to business needs.

We are a well-established, modern dental practice providing a wide range of treatments including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implants and sedation. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care and creating a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

The Role

You will support our clinicians in delivering high-quality dental care and play a key role in ensuring patients have a positive experience throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities

· Chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures

· Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms

· Decontamination and infection prevention procedures

· Supporting patient care and comfort

· Maintaining accurate clinical records

· Working closely with clinicians and the wider practice team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

· GDC registered

· Friendly, professional and patient-focused

· Organised and reliable

· Committed to delivering excellent patient care

Experience in implants, sedation or cosmetic dentistry would be advantageous but is not essential.
