Have a question about joining Real Good Dental?
Starting a new role is a big step. Whether you're at the beginning of your career or looking for your next opportunity, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Below are answers to some of the questions we’re most often asked by candidates.
Do you offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship?
Visa sponsorship may be available for certain roles, primarily for dentists, although this is not offered at every practice. Where sponsorship is available, we support 3 or 5-year Skilled Worker visas and work with experienced immigration solicitors who guide candidates through the process.
Can I apply for a role without a GDC number?
To work as a dentist in Scotland or England, you must hold an active GDC registration. However, you are welcome to apply if your GDC application is already in progress.
Do you offer mentoring for VTE applications?
Yes. We offer mentoring across our practices for dentists completing VTE in Scotland and PLVE in England. You’ll be supported by experienced mentors who provide guidance throughout the process to help you settle into practice and develop your clinical confidence.
What clinical support is available when I join?
From day one, you’ll receive support from our Clinical Advisor, Jacqui, alongside guidance from experienced clinicians within your practice. Our goal is to make sure you feel confident, supported and part of the team from the start.
What career development opportunities are available?
We believe in supporting long-term careers in dentistry. That’s why we encourage ongoing professional development, mentoring and clinical learning, helping our clinicians continue to grow their skills and progress in their careers.
What is it like to work at a Real Good Dental practice
Our practices are built around supportive teams, high standards of patient care and a collaborative working environment. We focus on creating workplaces where clinicians feel valued, supported and able to do their best work.
Do I need to complete NHS Mandatory Training and the Test of Knowledge?
If you have not previously worked in Scotland, you will need to complete the NHS Mandatory Training and Test of Knowledge.
Do you offer a welcome bonus?
We offer welcome bonuses and relocation packages, typically ranging from £5,000 to £15,000, depending on the role and location.
